    • Computer scan for codes, found code P0521 = oil pressure issue. Oil pressure switch has been replaced before. Oil pressure is low with no ticking noise or any lower engine noise. Remove all accessories necessary for oil pump replacement. Remove and replace oil pump, oil pressure actuator and oil pick up screen assembly. Re-install all accessories, add new engine oil and change oil filter. Add new coolant and pressure check cooling system. Clear computer and road test. Check engine light comes back on with code for low oil pressure. Oil pressure drops to approx. 8-10lbs with no tappet or lower end noise. Suspect excessive clearance in camshaft bearings. WILL NEED ENGINE REPLACEMENT TO FIX PROBLEM! ROUGH EST.- $8500.00 = PARTS, TAX & LABOR

    • Computer scan for codes, found codes P0174, P0496. Code P0174 is system lean on bank one, found vacuum leak from PCV elbow. Remove and replace PCV elbow. Code P0496 is fuel evap system code. Inspect fuel evap hoses, valves and solenoids. Purge solenoid fails bench test. Remove and replace purge solenoid. Replace all spark plugs, Clean throttle body, clear computer and road test.
    • Remove and replace oil and oil Filter, Lube Chassis and rubber bushings. Inspect brakes, suspension and steering. Check tire pressures and all Fluid Levels. Inspect belts and hoses. Inspect exhaust system, lights and accessories.

Code P0521 – related to low oil pressure, oil pressure switch and or clogged screen.. Check wiring and connection to bank-1 oxygen sensor- checks good. Replace bank-1 oxygen sensor. Remove and replace oil pressure switch. Clear computer and road test.
