Replace cabin air filters (some one had removed cabin filters and never installed new filters) and replace engine air filter. Service cooling system, add new coolant. Service transmission, replace transmission filter and add new fluid. Remove upper intake manifold and replace spark plugs and reseal intake manifold with new gasket set. Road test to check for noises and alignment.

Remove and replace battery, check starting and charging system.
Remove the drivers side front door panel, check all wiring to windows and clean all connectors to the main window switch. Works now if it happens again may need main switch
Remove all accessories necessary for oil cooler removal. Remove oil cooler and reseal with new gasket set. Re-install oil cooler and accessories. Add new coolant and recheck for oil leaks.

Scan computer for codes, no codes present. Road test, loose throttle when engine is warmed up. Remove and replace throttle body for test, vehicle still has problem. Remove and replace gas pedal sensor and road test, still has problem. Remove and replace throttle body and ecm relays, possibly heating up and causing loss of throttle, still has problem. Found vehicle hasn't had latest up date – $360.00 through dealer. This will let you get transmission codes if transmission is failing. According to dealer CVT transmission is the issue causing problem. Computer is going into fail-safe mode because of transmission failure.

Found rack and pinion unit leaking transmission fluid. Remove and replace rack & pinion assembly, add new fluid and bleed air from system. Road test after alignment.
Found valve covers leaking oil. Remove upper intake manifold, remove valve covers, clean and reseal with new gaskets.
