- Road test and check for noise. Found pinion bearing making noise. Remove rear differential cover, found metal dust in rear from bearing. Remove axles, remove carrier assembly, remove ring and pinion. Clean inside rear differential. Replace inner and outer pinion bearings, replace carrier bearings, replace axle bearings and seals. Reseal diff cover with sealant and add new differential fluid. Road test and confirm repair.
