- Inspect brakes, suspension and steering. Inspect belts, hoses and fluids. Inspect exhaust system. Inspect fuel and evap hoses and check lights and accessories. Road test to check for noises and alignment. Remove all accessories necessary for timing belt replacement. Remove and replace timing belt, idler pulley, tensioner and water pump. Re-install all accesories. Remove and replace spark plugs and spark plug wire set. Replace engine air filter and cabin air filter. Change oil and filter, add new coolant and road test after repairs.
