- Computer scan for codes, found code P0301 = misfire on #1 cylinder. Remove spark plug on #1 cylinder for inspection. Spark plug is oil fouled. Replace spark plug. Checked engine oil, found oil 3qts. low. Add 3 quarts of oil, clear computer and road test. SUSPECT #1 CYLINDER HAS BAD PISTON RINGS.
